  17. <p>     Funk metal rhythm violin at its best--that's how maned
  18. musician Mark Wood touts his work, and who can argue with him?
  19. After all, Wood is the world's only heavy-metal violinist. Soon
  20. there may be no escaping the strains of Wood's strings from his
  21. new album Voodoo Violince to a video starring Wood sawing away
  22. on a two-necked electric violin affectionately dubbed the
  23. Violator. His latest coup: the sound track for the prefilmed
  24. sequences of CBS' Olympic coverage. "I use French horns for the
  25. majesty of the Olympics, slamming drums and distorted guitars
  26. for the grunge and the sweat and the blood."
